The great Mona Lisa robbery
In October, 2025, the Louvre museum in Paris was robbed by thieves, stealing eight pieces of 19th-century French Crown Jewels worth approximately €88 million.
Using a ladder on a truck, masked individuals broke in, used tools to breach displays, and escaped on scooters within eight minutes.
Is it really so easy? Could people take away the Mona Lisa so easily too? I thought that would be impossible, until I saw the painting outside the Louvre museum myself!
